Vodafone Broadband Deals for Existing Customers (2026): How to Get the Best Renewal Offer
Deals checked: 2 September 2026
Do not renew Vodafone Broadband until you have compared the full 24-month cost
Vodafone has a dedicated upgrade route for existing broadband customers, but there is not one publicly advertised renewal price that applies to every account.
Your available offer can depend on your current package, contract end date, address, Full Fibre availability and whether you qualify for Vodafone Together.
Use Vodafone's existing-customer upgrade page to check whether you can renew or upgrade your broadband.
Vodafone existing-customer deals: the quick answer
Vodafone says it has deals for existing broadband customers, but the actual offer normally appears after you sign in or complete its upgrade eligibility process.
This is important because the price advertised on Vodafone's general broadband page is not automatically the price you will receive when renewing an existing account.
The best approach is to treat the first renewal offer as the beginning of the comparison—not necessarily the final answer.
Does Vodafone offer broadband deals for existing customers?
Yes.
Vodafone operates a dedicated existing-customer broadband upgrade page and says customers can renew or upgrade online, through live chat, by telephone or in a Vodafone store.
However, Vodafone does not publish one universal retention table showing a guaranteed renewal price for every existing customer.
The offer available to you may be influenced by:
- Whether you are still inside your minimum term
- How close you are to your contract end date
- Your current broadband speed and package
- The network available at your property
- Whether Full Fibre has become available since you joined
- Whether you are moving from Standard to Pro Broadband
- Any Vodafone mobile plan held on your account
- Account-specific discounts or promotions
Where can existing Vodafone customers find their broadband deals?
| Route | What to do | Why it is useful |
|---|---|---|
| My Vodafone | Sign in and open Plan Details to check your contract information. | Establishes your current position before you negotiate. |
| Upgrade checker | Enter the email address associated with your broadband account. | Vodafone can send an account-specific upgrade link if you are eligible. |
| Live chat | Open the chat service from Vodafone's broadband or support pages. | Useful for requesting an offer in writing. |
| Telephone | Call 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 08080 057 406 from another phone. | Allows you to ask directly for the best available retention price. |
| Vodafone store | Visit a branch with your account details. | Useful if you prefer to discuss the upgrade in person. |
Vodafone's upgrade page links to its account-specific eligibility checker and alternative contact routes.
Check your current contract before discussing a new deal
Before contacting Vodafone, find four pieces of information:
- Your current monthly price
- Your broadband package and estimated speed
- Your minimum contract end date
- The price Vodafone says you will pay after your current deal ends
Vodafone says customers can find their contract end date by signing in to their account dashboard and opening Plan Details.
You should also check the Contract Summary issued when you bought or last renewed the service. Vodafone says this document includes the plan features, billing summary and contract length.
Our six-step Vodafone renewal process
Use Vodafone's current public pricing as a benchmark
At the time of our September 2026 check, Vodafone's main broadband page showed these public starting points:
| Package | Current public starting price | From 1 April 2027 | From 1 April 2028 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Vodafone Broadband | From £24 per month | From £27.50 | From £31 |
| Vodafone Pro 3 Broadband | From £36 per month | From £39.50 | From £43 |
These are public headline prices rather than a promise that every existing customer can renew at the same amount.
Your price will depend on your address, available speed, selected package, account and the promotion offered when you renew.
However, the public figures still provide a useful negotiating benchmark.
If you are offered substantially more for the same service, ask Vodafone to explain:
- Why your renewal price is higher
- Whether another discount is available
- Whether the quoted plan contains additional features
- Whether a different speed tier would provide better value
For current public offers, see our Vodafone Broadband Deals 2026 page.
Can existing customers get Vodafone's new-customer broadband price?
Not automatically.
Some broadband promotions may be restricted to new customers, particular sales channels or specified packages.
That does not mean you should ignore the new-customer price.
Ofcom's end-of-contract rules require providers to tell residential customers about their best deals, including prices that are available only to new customers. This helps you see whether remaining with your provider is competitive.
You can therefore ask Vodafone directly:
- Can you match the current public price?
- What is your lowest price for my existing speed?
- Is there a retention discount available?
- Would changing speed or package reduce the total cost?
- Can any set-up or upgrade charge be removed?
How to negotiate a better Vodafone Broadband renewal deal
Negotiating is easier when you have specific figures.
Do not simply ask, “Can you make it cheaper?”
Explain your contract position, the package you need and the alternative prices you have found.
“My Vodafone Broadband minimum term is ending on [date]. I currently pay £[amount] for [speed/package]. I can see Vodafone's current public pricing and I have also found an equivalent deal from [provider] for £[amount].
Please tell me the best existing-customer price you can offer for the service I actually need, including the April 2027 and April 2028 prices, any charges, the price after the new minimum term and any extras that later become chargeable.”
If the first offer is poor, remain polite and ask whether another retention or account-specific offer exists.
You can also ask for the quote through live chat so you have a written record before agreeing.
Questions to ask before accepting a Vodafone renewal
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| What is the starting monthly price? | This is the headline figure, but it is only the beginning of the calculation. |
| What will I pay after each April increase? | Current Vodafone Home Broadband plans rise by £3.50 each April. |
| What is the minimum term? | Vodafone's current headline broadband deals normally use a 24-month term. |
| What happens to the price after the minimum term? | Vodafone says the monthly price can increase when the in-contract discount expires. |
| What download and upload speeds will I receive? | Availability and upload performance can vary by address and underlying network. |
| Are there installation or activation charges? | These can change the effective cost of the deal. |
| Will I receive different equipment? | Equipment depends on the plan and upgrade path rather than customer status alone. |
| Are any extras free only temporarily? | Trials and bundled subscriptions can become chargeable or renew later. |
| Will I lose an existing discount? | Moving plans may replace older account or promotional discounts. |
| Can you send the Contract Summary before I agree? | This is where the actual price, term and package details should be confirmed. |
What can existing Vodafone Broadband customers upgrade to?
Keep a similar package
Best when your current speed is sufficient and Vodafone offers a competitive renewal price.
Move from part fibre
Full Fibre may have become available since your original contract began. Check the speed and installation details for your property.
Choose a higher tier
Vodafone currently advertises tiers from everyday broadband through to 910Mbps standard service and multi-gigabit Pro service.
Add premium features
Pro 3 combines Full Fibre with Wi-Fi 7, mesh coverage, 4G backup, security and enhanced support.
Combine mobile and broadband
Eligible Pay Monthly mobile customers can receive a discount when adding qualifying broadband to their account.
Add entertainment and calls
Vodafone currently promotes an Xtra option containing Apple TV and calling features. Check the exact subscription and renewal terms before adding it.

Can existing customers save with Vodafone Together?
Vodafone Together provides discounts when eligible additional plans are placed under one Vodafone account.
Under Vodafone's May 2026 terms, an eligible Pay Monthly mobile customer adding Home Broadband can receive:
- £2 per month off Standard Home Broadband
- £4 per month off Pro Home Broadband
- £2 per month off an eligible 24-month 5G Broadband plan
The discount applies to the eligible additional plan rather than retrospectively discounting services already held on the account.
Vodafone also states that Together discounts do not cover later annual price increases.
Log in through Vodafone to see the broadband and additional-plan discounts available to your account.
What happens to your contract when you upgrade?
Vodafone states that an upgraded broadband plan receives its own new agreement.
That means it will have:
- A new contract start date
- A new minimum-term end date
- A new monthly price
- Any applicable discounts
- The features and conditions associated with the new plan
This is why an upgrade should not be treated as a casual account adjustment.
You are agreeing to a new contract, commonly with a new 24-month commitment.
How long does an upgrade take?
Vodafone says it will provide an activation or installation date when the order is placed.
Its existing-customer page states that this is typically around 21 days later, although Full Fibre-to-Full Fibre changes may be activated on the next available date.
The actual process depends on your existing connection and whether engineering work is required.
Vodafone Broadband annual price increases
Vodafone's current consumer Home Broadband terms apply a fixed £3.50 monthly increase on 1 April each year.
Vodafone's current public examples show:
- A £24 standard plan increasing to £27.50 in April 2027 and £31 in April 2028
- A £36 Pro 3 plan increasing to £39.50 in April 2027 and £43 in April 2028
Your own figures depend on the starting price in your agreement.
Vodafone also states that the monthly price can increase after 24 months when the in-contract discount expires.
Should you renew with Vodafone or switch provider?
| Renewing may make sense when... | Switching may make sense when... |
|---|---|
| Vodafone matches or closely approaches the best comparable price. | A competing provider is materially cheaper over the full contract. |
| You are satisfied with reliability and support. | You have experienced unresolved service or support problems. |
| Your preferred speed and upload rate are available. | Another network offers better upload performance or coverage. |
| The upgrade avoids unnecessary installation disruption. | A different provider offers better equipment or whole-home coverage. |
| Vodafone Together creates genuine household savings. | You would need to take an unsuitable mobile plan to obtain the discount. |
| The total 24-month price remains competitive after increases. | The renewal looks cheap initially but becomes expensive after scheduled rises. |
If you are still inside your minimum term, check whether early termination charges would apply before arranging a switch.
If you are approaching the end of the term, your Vodafone end-of-contract notification should identify the contract end date, future price and notice requirements.
Vodafone Broadband existing-customer deals: verdict
Vodafone gives existing customers several ways to renew—but you still need to compare
Vodafone's dedicated upgrade process is straightforward.
You can check online, use live chat, telephone the company or visit a Vodafone store.
Existing customers may be able to renew their current service, move to Full Fibre, select a faster tier, upgrade to Pro 3 or combine services through Vodafone Together.
But the existence of an upgrade route does not guarantee that the first renewal offer is competitive.
The most important comparison is not simply your old monthly price against the new one.
You need to compare:
- The service and speed included
- The starting monthly payment
- Every scheduled April increase
- Set-up and upgrade charges
- Temporary extras or subscriptions
- The price after the minimum term
- The equivalent total from competing providers
Our recommendation: check your logged-in offer, use Vodafone's public price as a benchmark, obtain at least one competing quote and then ask Vodafone for its best existing-customer deal.
If Vodafone offers the right service at a competitive total price, renewing can be convenient and sensible.
If it does not, loyalty alone is not a reason to accept a more expensive contract.

Does Vodafone offer broadband deals to existing customers?
Yes. Vodafone has a dedicated broadband upgrade page for existing customers. Available deals can depend on your current plan, contract position, address and upgrade eligibility.
How do I see my Vodafone Broadband renewal deals?
Sign in to My Vodafone or use Vodafone's broadband upgrade checker. You can also request an offer through live chat, by telephone or in a Vodafone store.
When can I upgrade Vodafone Broadband?
Vodafone says it will notify you when you are nearing the end of your contract. You can check the end date at any time by signing in, opening your account dashboard and viewing Plan Details.
What number do I call to upgrade Vodafone Broadband?
Vodafone currently tells customers to call 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 08080 057 406 from another landline or mobile. Check Vodafone's official contact page in case these details change.
Can existing customers get Vodafone's new-customer broadband deals?
Not every new-customer promotion will be available to an existing account. However, you can use the advertised price as a comparison and ask Vodafone whether it can match or improve your renewal offer.
Does Vodafone have to tell me when my broadband contract ends?
Yes. Ofcom requires broadband providers to send an end-of-contract notification between 10 and 40 days before the minimum term ends. It should include the end date, current and future price, notice information and the provider's best available deals.
Does renewing Vodafone Broadband start a new contract?
Yes. Vodafone says an upgraded plan has a new agreement with its own start date, end date, monthly price, discounts and package details.
How much does Vodafone Broadband increase each year?
Vodafone's current Home Broadband terms apply a £3.50 monthly increase on 1 April each year. Check your Contract Summary because older agreements may use different terms.
Can I upgrade to Vodafone Full Fibre?
You can upgrade if an eligible Full Fibre service is available at your address and Vodafone makes the option available to your account. Use Vodafone's postcode and upgrade checkers to confirm.
Can an existing customer upgrade to Vodafone Pro 3?
Potentially. Pro 3 is a Full Fibre-only package, so availability depends on your address and the network serving it. Vodafone's upgrade checker will show whether your account and property qualify.
Will Vodafone send a new router when I renew?
That depends on your current equipment and the package you select. Do not assume a routine renewal automatically includes different hardware; ask Vodafone to specify the equipment in the new agreement.
Can existing customers get a Vodafone Together discount?
Vodafone Together applies when an eligible customer adds a qualifying new plan. Current terms provide £2 off Standard Home Broadband or £4 off Pro Broadband when an eligible Pay Monthly mobile plan is the qualifying service.
Can I switch away from Vodafone while still in contract?
You can arrange a switch, but early termination charges may apply if you leave before the minimum term ends. Check your contract and request the exact leaving cost before making a decision.
Is it better to renew Vodafone Broadband online or by phone?
Check the online offer first so you have a clear baseline. Telephone or live chat can then be useful for asking whether Vodafone has a better retention offer.
What is the best time to negotiate a Vodafone Broadband deal?
The strongest time is usually when you are approaching or have reached the end of your minimum term and can realistically compare or switch without a large early termination charge.
How Switchking researched this guide
We reviewed Vodafone's current existing-customer upgrade process, public broadband pricing, annual price-change information, Vodafone Together terms and Ofcom's end-of-contract guidance.
Because Vodafone renewal offers can be account-specific, this guide does not claim that one price is available to every existing customer.
