These headline new-customer offers were displayed on Sky's live TV and broadband page when we checked on 29 September 2026. Availability, final pricing and promotional end dates can vary, so confirm the order summary before committing.

Step 1: Essential or Ultimate TV?

Choosing the correct television package is more important than automatically buying the biggest bundle.

Step 2: how much broadband speed do you actually need?

Sky sells several Full Fibre speeds. Faster is useful, but most households do not need multi-gigabit broadband simply to watch television.

Will 150Mbps run Sky Stream?

Very comfortably in normal circumstances.

Sky's own Streaming TV broadband recommendation is far below 150Mbps, so the reason to choose 500 or 900Mbps is generally the wider household rather than the Sky Stream puck itself.

A 900Mbps connection becomes more useful when several people are simultaneously:

• Watching 4K video
• Downloading very large games
• Using cloud backup services
• Working from home
• Video calling
• Gaming online
• Using multiple streaming televisions

How much does Sky Sports add to a TV and broadband bundle?

Sky Sports is not included with Essential or Ultimate TV. Sky's current published terms show Sky Sports Complete at £31 a month extra when taken on a 24-month minimum term alongside an eligible Streaming TV subscription.

The standard price is currently shown as £33 a month outside that minimum-term offer, and Sky notes that offers may apply. Your complete bundle price can therefore differ from a simple base-price calculation.

The important point is that you do not need Ultimate TV simply because you want Sky Sports. Start with the TV package you actually want, add Sports, then compare the complete live checkout total.

What about Sky Cinema?

Sky Cinema can be added to eligible TV packages, but it is not necessary to choose Ultimate simply to obtain Cinema.

Before adding it, consider how your household currently watches films.

If you already pay for several services such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and HBO Max, adding another film subscription may provide less incremental value than it appears.

Cinema becomes easier to justify when:

• You regularly watch new films through Sky
• The bundled price is significantly discounted

The correct comparison is the total monthly bundle after Cinema is added, not the size of the discount displayed next to the add-on.

The present £35 Essential + 900Mbps and £41 Ultimate + 900Mbps offers demonstrate why it is worth checking the combined deal before ordering TV and broadband independently.

Bundling can provide:

• Simpler support when the Sky streaming service depends on broadband

But one bill does not automatically mean better value

You should still compare Sky's bundle against alternatives such as:

Sky currently offers switching credit when a qualifying customer moves TV, broadband or both services from another provider.

1. Order an eligible Sky service.
2. Receive the final bill from your previous provider.
3. Pay the qualifying termination charges.
4. Keep evidence showing what was charged and that it was paid.
5. Submit the required proof to Sky.
6. Make the claim within Sky's stated time limit.

Sky currently requires proof to be provided within 90 days of the new Sky services being activated.

The featured TV and broadband offers are currently based around 24-month minimum terms.

That makes the headline monthly figure only one part of the buying decision.

Sky explicitly states on its current bundle offers that prices may change during the 24-month contract or minimum term.

Before ordering, check:

• The starting monthly price
• Which services are discounted
• The minimum-term length
• Any scheduled or permitted price changes
• What each service costs when a discount ends
• Setup or activation costs
• Early termination conditions

What equipment do you get with the TV bundle?

Sky's modern TV and broadband bundles are primarily built around Sky Streaming TV rather than automatically providing a traditional Sky Q satellite box.

With Sky Stream, the television service is delivered through a small puck connected to your existing television by HDMI.

You need:

• A compatible television with HDMI
• Power for the Stream puck
• A reliable broadband connection
• A Sky Streaming TV subscription

Do you own the Stream puck?

Current Sky Stream pucks are loaned equipment. Sky may require them to be returned when the relevant subscription ends.

Are the current Sky TV and broadband deals good value?

At the prices displayed on 29 September 2026, yes — the current Essential and Ultimate bundles are competitive.

Essential TV with 150Mbps Full Fibre is the lowest headline option at £32 a month. Essential 900 at £35 is the more interesting speed-value offer because the jump to Gigafast is currently only £3 a month.

Ultimate 900 at £41 is particularly strong for a household that would otherwise pay independently for Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hayu or discovery+ and wants the wider Sky entertainment package.

Most households still do not need 900Mbps purely for television streaming. Its appeal here comes from the promotional price relationship, not from a claim that ordinary streaming requires Gigafast broadband.

Sports buyers should price the complete package in Sky's live basket. The published £31-a-month Sports add-on is useful context, but combination offers can change the final total.
