Sky TV and Broadband Deals 2026: Best Packages and Current Offers
Last checked: 11 August 2026
Today's Sky TV and broadband deals start from £35 a month
Sky currently has some unusually aggressive TV and broadband bundles available to new customers, including 900Mbps Full Fibre Gigafast at the same headline monthly price as some of its 150Mbps packages.
The cheapest current combination gives you Sky Essential TV and 900Mbps Full Fibre for £35 a month, while Ultimate TV with the same 900Mbps broadband is £41 a month.
Sports bundles currently start from £52 a month when combined with Essential TV and 900Mbps broadband.
Switchking's standout: if Full Fibre Gigafast is available at your address, the current 900Mbps deals are difficult to ignore because Sky is charging the same headline £35 and £41 prices for equivalent Essential and Ultimate bundles with only 150Mbps broadband.

Our current pick: Ultimate TV + 900Mbps Full Fibre for £41 a month
At the moment, this is the bundle that stands out most to us.
Sky is charging the same £41 headline monthly price for Ultimate TV with either 150Mbps or 900Mbps broadband. If both products are available at your property under those terms, taking 150Mbps at the same price is difficult to justify.
Ultimate also adds a wider Sky entertainment selection alongside Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads and selected Hayu content.
The important qualification: don't buy 900Mbps simply because the number sounds impressive. The current deal makes it attractive because there is effectively no headline price premium compared with the 150Mbps Ultimate offer.
Step 1: Essential or Ultimate TV?
Choosing the correct television package is more important than automatically buying the biggest bundle.
Sky Essential TV
Best for: keeping the bundle price low while retaining the core Sky streaming experience.
- Sky Atlantic
- Netflix Standard with Ads
- discovery+
- Core Sky entertainment
- Can still add Sports and Cinema
Essential is especially attractive for households that already have enough entertainment from Netflix, terrestrial television and a small number of streaming apps.
Sky Ultimate TV
Best for: households that will genuinely use the additional entertainment channels and streaming services.
- Everything in Essential
- Additional Sky entertainment channels
- Netflix Standard with Ads
- Disney+ Standard with Ads
- HBO Max Basic with Ads
- Selected Hayu content
At the current bundle prices, moving from Essential to Ultimate increases the headline monthly cost by £6 on the comparable 900Mbps offers.

Step 2: how much broadband speed do you actually need?
Sky sells several Full Fibre speeds. Faster is useful, but most households do not need multi-gigabit broadband simply to watch television.
Plenty for browsing, video calls, HD streaming, home working and multiple everyday devices.
Useful where several people regularly stream, work, download and play games at the same time.
A strong option for larger households, multiple 4K streams and frequent large downloads.
Best suited to large households, big downloads, competitive gaming and lots of simultaneously active devices.
Will 150Mbps run Sky Stream?
Very comfortably in normal circumstances.
Sky's own Streaming TV broadband recommendation is far below 150Mbps, so the reason to choose 500 or 900Mbps is generally the wider household rather than the Sky Stream puck itself.
A 900Mbps connection becomes more useful when several people are simultaneously:
- Watching 4K video
- Downloading very large games
- Using cloud backup services
- Working from home
- Video calling
- Gaming online
- Using multiple streaming televisions
Our Sky Broadband review explains the broadband range in much greater detail.
What are the best Sky TV, broadband and Sports deals?
Sports viewers currently have two particularly clear bundle options in Sky's featured offers.
| Bundle | Broadband | Current headline price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential + Sky Sports | 900Mbps | £52pm | Sports viewers who do not need Ultimate's additional entertainment |
| Ultimate + Sky Sports | 900Mbps | £58pm | Households wanting sport plus the larger entertainment and streaming package |
The important point is that you do not need Ultimate TV simply because you want Sky Sports.
Someone whose viewing is mainly Premier League football, Formula 1 and a few core entertainment programmes could save money by taking Essential and adding Sports rather than paying for Ultimate content they rarely watch.
What about Sky Cinema?
Sky Cinema can be added to eligible TV packages, but it is not necessary to choose Ultimate simply to obtain Cinema.
Before adding it, consider how your household currently watches films.
If you already pay for several services such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and HBO Max, adding another film subscription may provide less incremental value than it appears.
Cinema becomes easier to justify when:
- You regularly watch new films through Sky
- The bundled price is significantly discounted
- You would otherwise rent several films each month
- The household genuinely uses the Cinema channels
The correct comparison is the total monthly bundle after Cinema is added, not the size of the discount displayed next to the add-on.
Is it cheaper to bundle Sky TV and broadband?
It can be, particularly during a strong promotional period like the current one.
The present £35 Essential + 900Mbps and £41 Ultimate + 900Mbps offers demonstrate why it is worth checking the combined deal before ordering TV and broadband independently.
Bundling can provide:
- Promotional package pricing
- One provider for TV and broadband
- One account to manage
- Potential switching credit on both services
- Simpler support when the Sky streaming service depends on broadband
But one bill does not automatically mean better value
You should still compare Sky's bundle against alternatives such as:
- Sky TV with another fibre provider
- NOW with standalone broadband
- EE TV and BT Broadband
- Virgin Media bundles
- Freeview or Freely plus streaming subscriptions
A bundle is valuable when the complete price is competitive for services you genuinely need — not simply because they appear on one bill.
Can Sky pay your old provider's exit fees?
Sky currently offers switching credit when a qualifying customer moves TV, broadband or both services from another provider.
Up to £300 switching credit
Sky does not simply cancel the old bill for you. You normally pay the qualifying charges to the previous provider first and then claim the appropriate account credit from Sky.
How the claim works
- Order an eligible Sky service.
- Receive the final bill from your previous provider.
- Pay the qualifying termination charges.
- Keep evidence showing what was charged and that it was paid.
- Submit the required proof to Sky.
- Make the claim within Sky's stated time limit.
Sky currently requires proof to be provided within 90 days of the new Sky services being activated.
How long are the current Sky TV and broadband contracts?
The featured TV and broadband offers are currently based around 24-month minimum terms.
That makes the headline monthly figure only one part of the buying decision.
Prices may change during the contract
Sky explicitly states on its current bundle offers that prices may change during the 24-month contract or minimum term.
Before ordering, check:
- The starting monthly price
- Which services are discounted
- The minimum-term length
- Any scheduled or permitted price changes
- What each service costs when a discount ends
- Setup or activation costs
- Early termination conditions
What equipment do you get with the TV bundle?
Sky's modern TV and broadband bundles are primarily built around Sky Streaming TV rather than automatically providing a traditional Sky Q satellite box.
With Sky Stream, the television service is delivered through a small puck connected to your existing television by HDMI.
You need:
- A compatible television with HDMI
- Power for the Stream puck
- A reliable broadband connection
- A Sky Streaming TV subscription
Do you own the Stream puck?
Current Sky Stream pucks are loaned equipment. Sky may require them to be returned when the relevant subscription ends.
That is different from Sky Glass, where you purchase the television hardware.
Read our Sky Stream review for the full assessment, or our Sky Stream vs Sky Glass comparison if you are deciding between the two hardware routes.

Seven things to check before ordering a Sky bundle
Check which Sky deals are available at your address
Full Fibre availability and final pricing depend on your postcode. Compare the available speeds before choosing the bundle.
View current Sky TV & broadband dealsAre the current Sky TV and broadband deals good value?
At the prices available when we checked, yes — some of the current bundles are unusually competitive.
The key offers are the 900Mbps bundles.
Essential TV with 900Mbps Full Fibre at £35 a month costs the same headline amount Sky is currently showing for Essential with 150Mbps. Ultimate follows the same pattern at £41 a month.
That changes our usual advice. Normally, we would tell most households that 900Mbps is unnecessary and that paying extra for it provides limited benefit. When the faster package is available at effectively the same promotional monthly price, the decision is very different.
Ultimate + 900Mbps at £41 is particularly strong for a household that would otherwise pay independently for services such as Netflix, Disney+ or HBO Max.
But the most important word is current. These are promotional offers, Gigafast availability depends on location, and Sky says prices may change during the minimum term.
Our approach would therefore be: check 900Mbps availability first, compare it against the 150Mbps price at your address, choose Essential or Ultimate according to what you genuinely watch, and then add premium services only where they provide real value.

Should I cancel Sky and rejoin to get a new-customer deal?
Do not assume cancelling will immediately make you eligible for a particular new-customer promotion. Eligibility terms can apply. Existing customers should first negotiate using current market pricing as a benchmark.
