EE TV Packages 2026: Entertainment, Sport, Big Sport & Full Works
Last checked: 11 August 2026
EE TV has five packages — but you only need to answer a few questions to choose one
EE TV currently splits its packages between entertainment, films and sport: Entertainment, Big Entertainment, Sport, Big Sport and Full Works.
The package names make the range look more complicated than it really is. Entertainment is the starting point for Sky entertainment through NOW, HBO Max and Netflix. Big Entertainment adds Cinema. Sport focuses on TNT Sports. Big Sport adds Sky Sports through NOW. Full Works combines almost everything.
There is another important difference from many traditional pay-TV packages: EE lets eligible customers flex between its TV packages during the contract as viewing habits change.
Quick answer: Entertainment will suit many general TV households. Big Entertainment is mainly for people who also want Sky Cinema. Big Sport is the serious sports option. Full Works makes most sense when you genuinely want entertainment, films and sport rather than buying it simply because it is the largest package.
EE is currently advertising Full Fibre 100 with Entertainment TV from £27.99 a month for the first three months, then £48.99, on a 24-month contract with a £30 activation fee. Scheduled price changes are shown during the order process.
Which EE TV package should you choose?
Start with what your household actually watches rather than the package name.
The four-question EE TV package test
Start with Entertainment.
Move from Entertainment to Big Entertainment.
Choose Sport for TNT Sports or Big Sport when you also want all 12 Sky Sports channels through NOW.
That's where Full Works starts to make sense.
The five EE TV packages explained
Includes NOW Entertainment & HBO Max, Sky entertainment channels including Sky Atlantic, Netflix Standard with Ads and free-to-air television.
Builds on Entertainment by adding NOW Cinema, giving access to Sky Cinema alongside the entertainment and streaming content.
Centres on TNT Sports, including TNT Sports on HBO Max and eligible TNT Sports HD and UHD content.
Includes everything in Sport, then adds NOW Sports with NOW Boost and access to all 12 Sky Sports channels.
Combines entertainment, NOW Cinema, TNT Sports and NOW Sports, alongside Netflix. It is designed for households that want almost the complete EE TV content stack.

What are you really paying to add as you move through the range?
The EE package structure makes more sense when you think of it as adding blocks of content.
NOW Entertainment, HBO Max, Netflix and general television.
Big Entertainment adds NOW Cinema and Sky's movie channels.
Big Sport adds NOW Sports to the TNT Sports proposition.
Full Works brings entertainment, films and both major sports groups into one package.
This means the largest package is not automatically the best-value package.
If you never watch films, paying for Cinema inside Full Works assigns value to something the household does not use. Equally, if you independently pay for Netflix, Sky Cinema and multiple sports subscriptions already, consolidating them within EE TV can potentially make a bigger package much more attractive.
How do NOW, HBO Max and Netflix work with EE TV?
One reason EE TV can initially seem confusing is that it combines traditional television channels with external streaming memberships.
NOW Entertainment & HBO Max
Entertainment, Big Entertainment and Full Works include NOW Entertainment & HBO Max.
This gives access to Sky entertainment channels alongside HBO Max programming. Sky channels such as Sky Atlantic are available through the EE TV guide, while HBO Max programming is accessed through the NOW service.
NOW Cinema
NOW Cinema is included with Big Entertainment and Full Works.
If you choose Entertainment, Sport or Big Sport instead, Cinema can be added separately where available.
NOW Sports
NOW Sports is included with Big Sport and Full Works.
EE currently describes this as access to all 12 Sky Sports channels, covering content such as Premier League football, Formula 1, cricket, golf and other major sports.
TNT Sports
TNT Sports is included with Sport, Big Sport and Full Works.
That includes TNT Sports on HBO Max and the relevant TNT Sports television channels. EE currently advertises eligible TNT Sports Ultimate content in 4K UHD as part of its sports proposition.
Entertainment vs Big Entertainment
This is probably the easiest decision in the range.
Both packages provide the core entertainment proposition, including NOW Entertainment & HBO Max and Netflix.
The major reason to move to Big Entertainment is NOW Cinema.
Choose Entertainment when:
- You mainly watch drama, comedy and general entertainment
- Sky Atlantic matters to you
- You want HBO Max content
- Netflix is useful
- You do not watch enough films to justify Cinema
Choose Big Entertainment when:
- You regularly use Sky Cinema
- Films make up a substantial part of your viewing
- You would otherwise pay separately for a Cinema membership
For many households, Entertainment will be the better starting point because EE's ability to flex packages reduces the need to buy more content “just in case”.
Sport vs Big Sport
This choice depends almost entirely on which competitions you watch.
Sport
Sport centres around TNT Sports.
That makes it particularly relevant for viewers interested in competitions and events carried by TNT, including Champions League football, selected Premier League games, rugby, MotoGP, UFC and other sports.
Big Sport
Big Sport combines TNT Sports with NOW Sports.
That brings in the 12 Sky Sports channels, making Big Sport the more obvious package for households wanting a wider football proposition as well as Formula 1, cricket, golf and other Sky Sports coverage.
Is Full Works worth it?
Full Works is easy to understand but easy to overspend on.
It is designed to bring together:
- NOW Entertainment & HBO Max
- Sky entertainment channels
- Netflix
- NOW Cinema
- TNT Sports
- NOW Sports
- Sky Sports channels
- Free-to-air television
That can be excellent value to a household that independently subscribes to several of those services already.
But Full Works is poor value if somebody mainly watches Premier League football and little else, or primarily wants HBO dramas and Netflix but rarely watches sport.
The correct question is not:
“Which EE TV package includes the most?”
It is:
“Which package contains the most things I would actually pay for separately?”
EE TV Flex: you don't have to make the perfect choice on day one
This is one of the more interesting features of EE TV.
EE allows customers on its flexible packages to move between packages as their viewing changes.
How package changes currently work
Why flexing changes how we'd buy EE TV
With a rigid TV contract, customers can be tempted to buy a larger package at the start because they are worried about being stuck without certain content.
EE's flex structure reduces that risk.
A household could, subject to the current terms:
- Use Entertainment during a quieter part of the year
- Move to Big Sport when a major sports season begins
- Switch to Full Works during Christmas when the household watches more films and sport
- Reduce the package again later
Which EE TV box should you choose?
The TV package and TV box are two separate decisions.
EE currently offers three main hardware routes:
EE TV Box Pro
The Pro is the strongest choice if you still value conventional television recording.
- 1TB hard drive
- More than 600 hours of recording capacity
- Record up to four channels in aerial mode
- Record up to two channels in internet mode
- 4K HDR
- Dolby Atmos support
- Pause and rewind live TV
- Can work with or without a rooftop aerial
EE TV Box Edge
Edge is smaller and simpler.
- No live-TV recording
- No aerial input
- Internet-delivered free-to-air channels
- 4K HDR
- Dolby Atmos
- Pause and rewind live TV
- Seven-day catch-up
Apple TV 4K
Apple TV 4K provides another way to use EE TV while also operating as Apple's broader streaming platform.
It makes most sense for households already heavily invested in streaming apps and the Apple ecosystem rather than people whose priority is traditional local recordings.
We are covering this in much greater detail in our separate **EE TV Box Pro vs Box Edge** comparison later in this sprint.
Do you need an aerial for EE TV?
No. EE TV can operate through broadband without a rooftop aerial.
The Box Pro gives you two setup options.
Internet mode
The Pro can receive supported free-to-air channels through EE Broadband without an aerial.
In this configuration, it can record up to two programmes at once.
Aerial mode
If a suitable rooftop aerial is connected, the Pro can use that for free-to-air television and increases its simultaneous recording capability to as many as four programmes.
The Box Edge has no aerial input, so free-to-air channels on Edge are delivered through the internet.
Can you watch EE TV in another room?
Yes.
EE currently allows customers on its TV packages to add an additional EE TV Box Edge for £10 a month.
EE also says customers can order one or two additional boxes, with the extra devices supplied as Box Edge units.
This means a household could use:
- Box Pro in the main living room
- Box Edge in a bedroom
- Another Edge in another eligible room
The additional boxes do not gain their own Pro-style recording hard drives.
EE TV vs buying NOW and Netflix separately
EE TV becomes most interesting when the bundled memberships replace subscriptions you would otherwise pay for separately.
For example, an Entertainment customer who already wanted:
- NOW Entertainment
- HBO Max content
- Netflix
- Free-to-air channels
- A unified TV guide
may find the bundle easier to justify than somebody who only wants Sky Atlantic.
Likewise, Big Sport has a stronger proposition for somebody who would independently subscribe to both TNT Sports and NOW Sports.
But bundling should not be confused with automatic saving. Always compare the total cost of the EE Broadband + TV package with the broadband and streaming subscriptions you would otherwise buy.
Which EE TV package is best for your household?
General entertainment household
You mainly watch drama, comedy, Netflix and premium series rather than sport.
Our pick: EntertainmentFilm household
You use Sky Cinema regularly as well as Netflix and general entertainment channels.
Our pick: Big EntertainmentTNT-focused sports fan
Your viewing centres on Champions League football and other TNT Sports coverage, but you do not need the wider Sky Sports range.
Our pick: SportPremier League and F1 household
You want both TNT Sports and the full Sky Sports proposition through NOW.
Our pick: Big SportLarge family that watches everything
Different people regularly use Netflix, Sky entertainment, films, TNT and Sky Sports.
Our pick: Full WorksSeasonal viewer
Your interests change significantly throughout the year.
Our pick: Start smaller and use EE FlexEE TV packages vs Sky TV packages
EE and Sky take noticeably different approaches.
Sky Stream currently has a simpler base structure built around Essential and Ultimate, followed by premium add-ons such as Sports and Cinema.
EE separates entertainment and sports customers much earlier in the package choice, creating dedicated Entertainment and Sport routes before combining them through Full Works.
EE's strongest differentiator is flexibility. The ability to move between eligible packages during the contract means you do not necessarily need to choose one permanent content mix for the entire term.
Sky's strongest advantage is arguably the depth of its own television ecosystem and the simplicity of starting with a base TV package.
See our Sky TV Packages guide for the current Sky structure.

View EE TV dealsWhich EE TV package offers the best value?
Entertainment is the best starting point for most households — but EE's flexibility is the real advantage
There is no single EE TV package that we would recommend to everybody.
Entertainment is the logical starting point for general television. It provides NOW Entertainment & HBO Max, Netflix and the main entertainment proposition without automatically charging the customer for Cinema or sport.
Big Entertainment has a simple justification: you watch enough films to value NOW Cinema.
Sport makes sense when TNT Sports is the important part of your viewing. Big Sport is considerably more comprehensive because it combines TNT with the full Sky Sports range through NOW.
Full Works should be treated as a consolidation package rather than automatically being regarded as “best”. It becomes attractive when several members of the household genuinely use entertainment, Cinema and both sports propositions.
But the feature we like most about EE's structure is Flex.
Instead of paying for the biggest package all year because you might need it eventually, start with the content you actually watch and change package when your viewing changes.
